This film attempts to dive into a serial killer’s dark and suspenseful world, but unfortunately, it struggles to maintain the tension and excitement that a thriller demands. The pacing is sluggish, causing the narrative to drag in key moments that should be gripping. Additionally, the film is marred by unrealistic actions and noticeable plot holes that undermine its credibility and impact. These flaws detract from what could have been a tightly woven mystery. While the cinematography is commendable and captures the moody atmosphere well, it isn’t enough to save the film from its shortcomings. Jennifer Eight ultimately falls short as a thriller, leaving the audience with unfulfilled potential and a rather dull viewing experience.
