Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort Hotel is suitable for families and solo travellers. A good one is that the hotel provides a free service to register outside guests, so guests can invite visitors to their rooms while ensuring a secure experience.
I opted for a Superior Ocean View room on the 14th floor with a balcony. One of the perks of this room is the ability to smoke on the balcony while keeping the door shut.
The room’s design is modern and inviting, with the unique feature of a transparent glass wall dividing the bathroom and bedroom. This design element adds a contemporary touch and creates an open and spacious feel.
One of the standout moments during my stay was at the hotel’s restaurant. It’s not because of the food or drinks. It’s because hardly any customers are around, providing a sense of privacy no matter the hour. Additionally, the restaurant staff are exceptionally courteous and friendly.
Conveniently located just 50 meters from the beach and Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort Hotel offers easy access to some of Pattaya’s most popular attractions.
If you can tolerate the service quality, I recommend this hotel for its features, although it’s not the best value for money.
